The panorama shot of the main citycenter building is great. It occurs to me that the views from this building may not be as great as a lot of us may have imagined. A majority of views are probably of the I-15 freeway, or else the Monte-Carlo, or other close buildings such as Vdara (may or may not be good view).
Anyway, it may be like driving around in a flashy sports car and looking out the window and just seeing a lot of beat up civics all around you.
^If I have a billion dollars, I would acquire the land opposite of CityCenter and build a hotel. So my hotel guests can look out their window and see the beautiful view. Kind of like living in Paris and looking at The Bellagio.

I'm guessing that tall steel frame will be the back of a showroom.
@Mark:
The tall steel frame is the first part of the convention center in block A
They should be assembling the first truss and you should be seeing more trusses being put up in the next couple of weeks ;-)

You could just buy Planet Hollywood, since it's accross the street...

Thanks for that info.
Is that the odd shaped building that this red arrow is pointing at or the building below it?
I love the look of that thing, but really, as far as the way it associates with the surrounding neighborhood (if you can call The Strip a neighborhood) turns it into Le Corbusier's dream.

The arrow does point to the theatre. That is correct and yes, the convention center I was talking about is right below it.
Where did you get that picture from??
It would be absolutely great if someone could get a set of pics from above. With these megaprojects that is usually the best angle to understand the site, progress, and vision.
