I remember a few years ago (2010 or 2011), people were quite taken aback by the projected completion date of 2015.

It is interesting to see the sequence of Altitude - Marriott - Altoria

First there was Altitude. As that was nearing top off, The Marriott starts to emerge. As the Marriott nears its final height, Altoria comes into focus.

Only recently has it started to reshape itself because for the longest time nothing happened.

Thx for the tour! It's getting more exciting as time goes on. Altoria is going to be our little bitch this summer. I can't wait to see the cladding, should be a quality curtain wall.

Wouldn't be surprised if Deloitte was completed before this guy.

Hmmm, from the 5th of march to today, I believe they did 2.5 floors. Not too bad.

Now that the tricky parts of demolition and excavation are done, and summer is 'round the corner, I predict a quick and steady climb for this mama.

Besides, this project is due to complete in 2015. So probably topped out in 1 year or so.

There's no need to go all Jean Drapeau here and start blowing every up that isn't "tall". Otherwise we might as well change our name to hamilton, or vancouver and go ahead and tear down every old building. No thanks.
