My Skyline

In this picture I have metal souvenir buildings from all over the world. From London comes the London Eye, the Eiffel tower form Paris. The Montreal Olympic Stadium among others. The Metal Souvenirs are from infocustech. The paper souvenirs are from STR and from Rei on skyscrapercity.com. Metal, Plastic, Plaster, Paper and wood come together to form this massive skyline in my room.

Nice set of skyscrapers! I see what looks like two versions of the Shanghai WFC. It that the NY Flatiron building to the left of the Eiffel Tower? If so it appears to be a much larger scale.

I have something similar. My collection of Constructions from cities all over the world, miniatures of wood, stone, marble dust etc. i bought in every city i visited. I have this hobby when i go travelling and visitng a place to buy the souvenier representation of the symbol the city like a church, temple, tower, building and so on most representative thoses places. My collection of miniatures are huge, some 200 pieces stored in boxes now, each one not taller than 10 cm, i try to buy at reasonable price of € 10 each, the smallest i can found, but after my moving i can't already put in the new furniture exposition as it was before. Mainly are European things... Unfortunatly i did not found something of Sao Paulo and Fortaleza, but trying already, nobody produces that there. One day i show a photo when i have time to put all in place. i plan for this winter... so coming soon.

Examples of what i have:
Christus of Rio de Janeiro, Colosseum of Rome, Vatican, Mole Antonielana Turim, Most buildings of Dubai, Eiffel Tower Paris, Rialto Bridge Venice (Venice has a wonderful collection), Castles of England, Firenze Stuff, Ponte Hercilio Luz of Florianopolis, Duomo di Milano, Köln Church, Munich Tower and many others. Unfortunatly it was not all places i've been that i found the replicas in souvenier, but still trying when i go somewhere. I started this hobby when i lived in Italy so most are from there.
