That is simply not true. There's a lot of concern with shadowing of Central Park. The developers are just within their rights. I don't think anyone back when the planning policy was created thought real estate would ever get so ridiculous to allow a 400 metre pencil thin development to be profitable.

Welcome to 2017. What you consider ridiculous this generation considers the new norm. One can either continue to label things silly, insane, ridiculous or accept that this is the direction lots of global cities are heading. The level of height and density that people feel comfortable with is far higher than what it was 30 years ago. I certainly don't need to be bathed in direct sunlight either. If I required that, I'd have moved to Saskatchewan not the densest 10 sq km of the country.

I couldn't care less how tall they go as long as the infrastructure on the ground is planned to handle it, that the buildings meet the street successfully, and that the quality is there.

Now that they have full city approvals construction should start soon on the 1st phase retail podium

I really like those Nobu Towers, as well as 15 Duncan. And of course, BIG has to join the party! Toronto just continues to be on fire!

They've done a great job with the 2 phases before this one. This is turning out just like the renders. I'm looking forward to their final phase as well. If only all developers could do this good a job.
