It was my understanding that part of the reason for rebuilding the Joske's building was to put in place a foundation to support a future addition. In addition, I thought the foundation was built to support a 16 floor structure.

The hotel plan has shifted to the South parking garage, which is probably a better location anyways.

Damn, this project not happening hurts. Hurts more knowing if this was Dallas, Houston or Austin, it would have been done.

Man a 400 footer there would help fill in that gap in the skyline coming from the north side so much. Fingers crossed something with decent height happens at hemisfair.
