Arlington Residential High-Rise

A couple of months ago I saw in the news that there was talk of a high-rise residential building being proposed for Arlington, TX to help accomodate the visitors to the new Dallas Cowboys stadium. They were comparing the design to the W in Dallas. Does anybody have any information on this building or has it been canceled?

Arlington, 330,000+ residents, 2 major leauge sports franchises, 25,000+ student university, numerous high tech and manufacturing companies... Geez, grow a downtown already!!!

Yes, and get a bus system. I would assume too that DART and the commuter rail line doesn't run in Arlington? Supposedly Arlington is the largest "city" in the United States that doesn't have a mass transit system.

Arlington does have a downtown--it's just really tiny! But yeah, for all intents and purposes there isn't a downtown, just a huge continuous strip mall down on South Cooper.

Buses. They don't want know stinking buses! Those bring in the bad people.

I actually liked Arlington when I lived there, but I have to admit that it's a bit backward in many ways.
