Lol it's a sign I spend way too much time on Google Maps, but I also noticed yesterday that much of (southern, at least) Manitoba has updated satellite imagery. Didn't notice any 3D views of towns that didn't have it before, but I was looking up stuff in my old hometown of Stonewall, which I'm sure will be 3D view enabled in 2078 or so.

The Western half of Winnipeg has very recent satellite images.
- Winnipeg Stadium is in process of being torn down
- Cabela's looks like it is opened

However the Investor's Group Field is still under construction

LOL! What the hell do you want to spend good money on the damn garage for anyway.

Seriously what a dumb ass, but then again you know who lives in North Kildonan.

Updated aerial imagery and 45 degree view are available on the City website. To get into 45 degree view, click on the little coloured pictometry button.

http://winnipeg.ca/ppd/maps_aerial.stm

Images are from last spring.

Google earth also has up to date photos under the timespan button. Not the highest definition, but are more up to date than the default ones form a couple years back.

Google Earth has recently updated downtown Winnipeg with the almost complete Alt Hotel and a mid-constructed Convention Centre.
