Well dayum, if the final design is anything like that render, that will be a total architectural coup.

I agree... fantastic design. Looking at the site plan makes me think it will be similar in design.

fun design, but a nightmare for window washers.

I like the curves, but I think I could do without the FisherPrice color scheme.

I dont know, I think the colours add to the building....it is better than the typical all glass and grey.

I agree! Its for CHOP, the place is awesome when it comes to catering to kids. The colors will make it feel much more welcoming to the intended audience.

I for one love the design. Where is this in relation to Center City?

Just across the Schuylkill in University City on the CHOP/Penn Medical Campus... not far at all.

Hopefully it will be in view from some of the towers in CC. With the future plans that Drexel has in regards to highrises, hopefully this will start to expand and become more of a University City/CC west.

I believe the steel has made it's way above street level finally. The "construction" on the other side of the South-Street Bridge appears to be the mock-up of this building so I expect we'll see this rising to claim a prominent space on the burgeoning western CC/UC skyline in the next few months. I'll try to get a few pics up if I can.

UCG I dont think the mock-up on South Street has anything to do with this project unless they completely changed course on design.
