From today's Crains about the firm who switched: The Hines venture already has landed two law firms for its 54-story, 1.1-million square foot tower: McDermott Will & Emery LLP, which is leasing 240,000 square feet there, and DLA Piper LLP, which is leasing 175,000.
Hines expects to complete construction of a platform for the tower within 30 days and start construction of the high-rise in May, said Greg Van Schaack, a senior vice president at Hines. He aims to complete the project in November 2016. He declined to comment on the Victory Park deal.
The article also now mention River Point as being 54 floors and 1.1 mil sq ft. I wonder if this is a mistake or if Hines added a couple floors.
