Trolls usually lie though. And spread false rumors.

Am I not right about Vancouver's infrastructure being of 3rd world age and quality? Roads, highways (worst stretch of highway and exits ever?), water treatment facilities, water managaement, communications, etc... all horrible.

But hey at least we have the Olympics right?

Have you ever been to the Phillipines - a REAL third world nation? Then you'll see real road jams and failed infrastructure.

Get some education and then post, please. For all our sake.

Pyongyang doesn't even have traffic lights, while we have tons of them. And people in North Korea are banned to have cars in the first place, so there's even no traffic to contend with. You're comparing apples to oranges, bro.

LOL you're guilty of both, my living-under-a-bridge friend. I've traveled to many "developed" countries, and 2 "3rd world" countries (Cuba, Mexico). I can say with good authority, we are far better than the 3rd world, and better than most if not all of the "developed world".

Thanks for playing!

Arrow Vancouver / Brisbane

Here's a Wikipedia entry about Brisbane. I can't make an informed remark about infrastructure, only in certain parallels that exist (and don't exist) in population, city transport, and aiport traffic. These articles are informative and interesting in the aspect of comparison and contrast

first, the city itself
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brisbane

then the transit system
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transport_in_Brisbane

and the airport
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brisbane_Airport

In Montreal you have to worry about the potholes, overpasses, and building chunks. Around Vancouver, you only have to worry about rock slides (or getting stuck in traffic when they need to clear a rock slide).

I was in Vancouver a few months ago. It's ok. I'll give my more detailed opinion later when I have time.

Vancouver actually has exceptional communications infrastructure by international standards, in part because our high-tech/design/gaming/film industries demand it. Vancouver has an expansive fibre optic network for example. Overall it likely benefits business much more than your average Joe though. We may have crappy service providers by international standards but the infrastructure is as good as it gets.

He was trolling in other threads around the site, not just this one. It's not necessarily Soviet Vancouver Local SSP
