Yes, we should refrain from insults and name-calling. The degree of it here is one of the things that turned me off to SSP.

Sorry, but don't you realize that many of the projects you wish can happen in Miami can not for reasons beyond our control? If you can't understand and live with that, then I will also have to not take you seriously.

This is GREAT news! At least the project is still alive and I'm sure it's just a matter of paying a fee for the extension!

That would be a nice collection of buildings with Espirito Santo, Santander, Four Seasons and Echo Brickell in a row with 1450 Brickell across the street.

Then, add Panorama and OBP. I have no doubt the Hollos will get it done, but Echo Brickell and a 950 feet tall Banco Santander are going to be great there where they'll be. I was so afraid that Banco Santander had gotten so caught up in the economic crisis in Europe that they had decided for forego this tower. We had not heard anything in a while. Now this hearing about them wanting an extension to start construction on their 950 feet tall tower says they are still planning to build it.

Its been through a couple of different iterations but I this is the most recent proposal i believe. It could always (and probably will) change again before they break ground.

In the above photo, Echo Brickell will be on the right hand side of the Four Seasons. A lot of new high rises are coming to Miami. The market is still strong.
