Yes, we should refrain from insults and name-calling. The degree of it here is one of the things that turned me off to SSP.

Sorry, but don't you realize that many of the projects you wish can happen in Miami can not for reasons beyond our control? If you can't understand and live with that, then I will also have to not take you seriously.

Almost afraid to post this with all the FAA nonsense that will ensue:

Banco Santander: Keep Our Approval For 950-Foot Tower Active

By exMiami Staff on June 17, 2013

Banco Santander wants to retain the right to build an office tower up to 950 feet at 1401 Brickell.

The company had received a determination from the FAA in 2010 that the tower would not be a hazard to air navigation, but it was set to expire. Santander now wants an extension.

This is GREAT news! At least the project is still alive and I'm sure it's just a matter of paying a fee for the extension!

That would be a nice collection of buildings with Espirito Santo, Santander, Four Seasons and Echo Brickell in a row with 1450 Brickell across the street.

It's not so much a matter of listening to you as it is maintaining some decorum in the forum. I hate when people start spitting venom in here.

Then, add Panorama and OBP. I have no doubt the Hollos will get it done, but Echo Brickell and a 950 feet tall Banco Santander are going to be great there where they'll be. I was so afraid that Banco Santander had gotten so caught up in the economic crisis in Europe that they had decided for forego this tower. We had not heard anything in a while. Now this hearing about them wanting an extension to start construction on their 950 feet tall tower says they are still planning to build it.

Its been through a couple of different iterations but I this is the most recent proposal i believe. It could always (and probably will) change again before they break ground.

Oh wow....I like....
It would be great to see the three new highrises helping to anchor the skyline on the south while One Bayfront helps to anchor it on the north....

In the above photo, Echo Brickell will be on the right hand side of the Four Seasons. A lot of new high rises are coming to Miami. The market is still strong.

Echo Brickell May Sell Out Before Work Starts!

Only 30 units left!

Quote:
Big ass Echo Brickell is selling out insanely quickly. The latest behemoth planned for the Brickell skyline, almost as high as the Four Seasons right next door, has reservations for all but 30 of its 190 units, according to a tweet by one of its realtors Aniley Perez. And these kinds of crazy-fast selling numbers seem to be appearing over and over again around Miami. Either this city's a goldmine, or we've learned nothing and are bound to get ourselves in a lot o' trouble all over again. Considering that everyone's still paying in cash, and not mortgages (it's like we're on another planet, where the normal laws of money don't apply) Curbed Miami thinks that so far this city is a-ok. No word yet on whether the penthouse, which architect Carlos Ott will custom design for whomever buys it, has sold or not.

Someone should make renderings of these buildings. Would like to add them in Sketchup to see the effect they will make on the existing skyline.

^^^ No, I mean renderings for Google Sketchup. I can't find any of these new project renderings in the warehouse.

Chill out man, it's just a freaking word, calm down. If you're so offended by retard then be offended by dumb, lame, moron, etc.

How tall is that echo brickel building or whatever supposed to be?
