It does. From what I could see today, the structure is up to the 25th floor. 15more will make it better and better.

This tower may have been increased to 45 floors as rumors have it.

^according to which rumours, I haven't heard them?
And I doubt these rumors are true, often times people count underground floors like parking as the total height.

^thanks for the link. Interesting scoop, but I believe they're just counting basements and the 13th floor.

On the rendering on Canvar's web site, I count 40 total but if it is 45, it would be great.

Now that it is all coming together near the bottom, I have to say this is a beautiful piece of architecture. I love the window boxes and architectural detailing. The glazing is a great colour too. It will be a beauty when it is done! Way to go Montreal!

Ça donne vraiment un effet ''you are entering the downtown core''.

How much actual construction takes place during Montreal's bitter winter weather?

Quite a lot in fact but it is not ideal and construction workers really earn their pay when they work outside on those cold days.

The Canvar website needs to be updated. It still indicates the hotel opening in the Summer, 2012.

http://www.canvar.ca/en/hotel-management.html

So, the hotel will be contained only in the small 11-story structure and the condo units will be on all floors of the 40 (45?) story tower?
Or will the lower floors of the tower also contain hotel rooms? I'm confused.

Benson
