There were floods and water coming through floors. Several units were heavily damaged.

I totally agree. Claridge 1&2 were susposed to be 27 floors, and edinburgh common, lalique, la tiffany or what ever they call it was sussposed to be 30 floors.

I've been trying to figure out how tall/what floor count this project has on it now...it's hard to guess from my office. That being said, I DO have a great view of it's progress, and will have a likewise awesome view of CP III and CP IV when/if they go up.

I think that CP II is at 15 floors now...

The buildings are absolutely sparkling. Either that or there's multiple photo shoots going on.

If you're looking for info about La Tiffani, which has been available for quite some time now, you can find it over here:

CP PH2 looks like it's at the 19 or 20th floor mark now...just have the last 5-6 smaller levels at the top to build...

Great photo.

I think this project is on track for a December 2010 completion date. When will CP 3 and 4 be on Claridge's website? I can't wait for Tribeca's details! :-)

They need taller buildings downtown...everything looks the same height like they were hacked/whacked by a giant weed whacker...lol

I dunno if I'd really want Claridge Plaza more prominent in the skyline

No, I didn't mean make CP taller than they are now...I meant they need something taller than Place De Ville or some of the other 30+ storey buildings...maybe something an even 40 stories...

I know I know, I talk about Ottawa having a new "Tallest" all the time. I think 40 stories wouldn't dwarf everything else downtown, but it would stand out though, even if it wasn't the best in design/cosmetics...Well, I draw the line at MORE teal coloured metal and sand coloured fascias...Need something more like Bay Adelaide Centre in T.O, just on a smaller scale...

Yeah, 40 storey CP would be horrible The height limits mean that all we get is giant boxes (flickr steve brandon)

I'd love to see some tall, thin modern towers like Spire (45 fl/150 m)... maybe they'd have to go in a new area like Bayview?
