Just an observation, seeing all the midrises in the horizon, in this pic, is it crazy to think one day, perhaps around 25-30 yrs from now the south loop will eventually merge and connect that far south? Man that would be one huge "downtown" area

They've worked fast on the rebar for the core. Looks like the mat pour is imminent.

If you look closely you can also see Jeanne Gang's Solstice on the Park rising in Hyde Park.
