MALMÖ: Street shots, demonstrations and elevator rides!

In this thread I will show some very diverse pictures I took the same day.

The statue “Honour of work” at Möllevångstorget.

Snow at Möllevångstorget.

During the photo tour we came in the middle of this strange Islamic “demonstration”!

Later I read on the news that it was a tribute to a historic muslim called imam Hussein. The crowd was shouting loud!

I read that this man wants to Westernize the name of Malmo in to Mothvirgin... Mal meaning Moth and Mo meaning maiden or virgin. Interesting to say the least, nice shots though.

Thanks...interesting that you think it looks clean despite all the snow and all the mess. Some parts are really dirty, especially sunday morning (after friday and saturday nights).

Views from the 20-storey Hilton hotel at Triangeln:

It is only allowed for guests to get inside the lobby since Scandic and later Hilton bought it from Sheraton and that sucks. However, me and my friend managed to get in there.

Because of the stress and the movement of the elevators, the pictures didn’t become so sharp.

The hotel daytime.

Nice to see some different pictures of Malmo. We see so often the Turning Torso, but not much else.
