One 57 just has crap looking massing when viewed from Central Park. I love the side view of the building, but straight on it looks awkward. But I love how it kinda started the supertall boom. 220 looks fantastic though. And it's absolutely nuts how a 950 foot tower is barely discernible in the skyline. Any most cities in America this tower would be the tallest or damn close to the tallest in any other city.

Well, if we're lucky 220CPS's good looks will shame One57 into actually using its crown lighting.

This is a great building to see come up. Didn't notice it at all last time I was in NYC (in August)

^i know that some people dislike One57, but those pinstripes in that lighting prove to be an excellent touch. Very NYC to me. Awesome set of photos NyGuy. Good find.

I love One57 and it's pinstripes, the best part of the building.

Meanwhile, this one is looking great also, and every bit of its height.

220 CPS + 520 Park.

This view will only get better as the super talls rise.

Using 432 Park as a reference, the Park from this angle will be sliced between CPT, Steinway, and Verre. The two in the order being taller.
