those floor plans really give a good idea of the size of this building, and that its really bigger than it seems, that looks more than twice the size of my house, and i live in a 4 bedroom house.

That floorplan shows a double height great room, could you imagine the views in that apartment?

Yuck, that interior is actually really ugly, to me at least.

It's 11,000 sq ft.

Agreed. Although for $110 million, I think the prospective buyer can afford to customize it.

I have to admit that for $110 million, this is very disappointing to me. This LOOKS like it would be priced at a mere $40,000,000 or lower. You can buy a penthouse in the Trump Tower that looks EXACTLY like this for $20 million.... Maybe you're paying an extra $90,000,000 just to say you live "at the penthouse in One57."

Crazy.

A Trump Tower penthouse would look nothing like this.

Much lower ceilings, much smaller windows, and totally different floors and fixtures. And the relative heights and views would be totally different.

As to whether a apartment is "worth" what someone is asking - might as well let the market judge. I have no idea what these apartments are "worth".

nycluver, I love that view from Hunter College because even when the tower's complete, you'll still be able to see Carnegie Hall Tower. It isn't obscured completely!

If that's the penthouse, no thanks. It looks like the office of CEO or something with only the chandelier giving it away. I'd much rather own of the smaller units below. No character whatsoever. Zero.

It doesn't look like a double height ceiling. Spectacular views, but lackluster conceptual rendering.
