I did some early morning flying. It was too windy and I had to abort, but I got some pictures of the Independent, as well as Third+Shoal, Google Tower, 5th&West and Shoal Creek - posted in their threads. These are not great pictures, but it sure is fun learning!

Don't sell yourself short. Those are pretty great. Drone photos are always awesome to see on here.

I especially like that last one. It's a neat angle that we don't often get to see. Thanks, AusTxDevelopment! These are really great.

Those line up perfectly. Nice job. Just imagine the 2020 view.

What's amazing is from this angle I count about 5 buildings built from 1993 to 2005. 12 years. Now 12 years later........

It seems to be pretty reflective to me. I think the color of it is going to complement 360 pretty closely. I don't know why, but I hadn't noticed that notch before that will go up the corner of the building. That's going to be an interesting feature, especially with the overhangs.

My favorite plan in that building is C-3.

Too bad my current 2,000 sq/ft home would only be a small down payment on one of those units.

They've been doing overnight cement pours. It's going up fast - currently at floor 27. But I don't think it will have a huge impact on the skyline until it gets to around floor 45 and pokes above 360 and Spring.

Thanks ATX you seem to be enjoying your flights. This building as weird as it's offsets are is going to be striking! The details in the outside corners will reflect all types of sun rays. It will definitely turn heads and people will grow to love it. Wish it had a better crown of some sorts...hell put Frosts crown on it and it's iconic! Keep those flights going...how about during the fireworks on the 4th?

Great pic! Are there any planned or proposed projects that may fill that gap to the left of the Austonian? Get rid of that gap and it's a continuous conglomeration of civilization across the skyline!
