Had a light blanket of snow fall this morning so we thought we should take advantage of that and checked out the lights along the waterfront.

Another beautiful day in paradise...

-4C with a wind chill of -6 and cloudy with some flurries.

Low of -5C (wind chill of -10) this morning so not much variation. Just so warm outside!

The warmspot was Tofino, BC at 10.6C

Middle of the night and it's 9 C and not raining right now in downtown Vancouver. When it's this mild I like to keep a window or two open a bit overnight to let some fresh moist ocean air inside.

Friday was overcast and dry until about mid-afternoon and then we had some drizzle and light rain. The high at Vancouver Harbour was 9 C, the low was 6 C.

Yeah, talking to my parents today and they say it is green in Nelson. All the snow storms forecasted came down as rain.

Yesterday and today have been the first of the “Vancouver” winter days here in Japan. Overcast, some periods of drizzle, a couple sunny breaks, and temps hovering around 8 degrees in the afternoon. Still good enough to go for a run outside (as long as it’s not windy).

This is pretty typical weather here from about mid December to the end of February.

PS, loving all the pics as usual on this thread!

Looks like were in for about 5cm of snow today, otherwise the week ahead doesn't look too bad. The incoming arctic blast seems to be skipping Alberta for the most part. Highs ranging from -6 to +8.

I am in Northern SK for the next week and this is what I have to look forward to.

• An arctic ridge of high pressure is forecast to build south and entrench itself over the 60th parallel bringing widespread cold temperatures. Wind chill values are forecast to be in the -40 to -45 range in northern Saskatchewan early Saturday morning (December 7). Wind chills are forecast to be in the -45 to -50 range that same morning.

If I don't make it, I bequeath my account to my son.

Cloudy, some sunny breaks, and 2 degrees just before 11am. We're supposed to get a snow/rain mix this afternoon with a storm passing through. I imagine near the coast and at low/mid elevations it'll mostly be rain, or the wet snow won't really stick around too much. At higher elevations and inland though there could be up to 10 cm.

-5 right now and going up to -2. Cold day to be doing some Christmas errands, not looking forward to it. Supposed to get up to 7 tomorrow and Monday though, which should melt most of the snow.

I stand corrected. Looks like this is going to be a snow event for the entire city. It's pretty wet snow, but it's sticking.

Sunny, -5C with a windchill of -13 in Moncton at 1 PM. Very pleasant in the sun though.

New IHOP under construction in the northwest end of Moncton. Photo taken this morning.

Nice calm sunny day today, but cold, only 1.5 and hard freeze last night. Grass is still nice and green here

Love your previous set of pics SignalHill. The 2nd and 3rd ones in particular!

Crisp day here at -5C. Big warm up the next couple days, the snow will be melted unfortunately. Not sure why people prefer grass at this time of the year. After Xmas perhaps.

That time of year where the sun somewhat sets over Lake Ontario (from here anyways). Clouds kind of blocked it tonight, but still nice.

Yes green here as well. We've only had around 48 hours of snow cover this fall.
