Paris weekend break (part 4), La Défense

Some views of the grandiose 60's project on the boundary of Paris. To be very honest I wasn't too amazed by it: it's rather cold and plain... but still an interesting place worth visiting nonetheless. A "museum" of contemporary planning...

Awesome. Considering how historic the rest of Paris looks, it's surprising how modern La Defense is.

Right. Something's missing... the "parvis" is really lifeless during the week-end.

But the commercial center is crowed.

In the week this place is crowed
Metro Defense Grande Arch station (RER station is more crowed)

La Defense is not the most modern place of Paris.
Paris rive gauche look more modern
