There are way too many nice buildings to narrow it down to three.

First you think of the big cities, but then you start to remember Quebec City, Halifax, Victoria, and it becomes just too much to decide.

Maybe not literally my #1 favourite building in the country, but a modernist gem in one of Canada's often-overlooked cities. The Confederation Centre in Charlottetown:

My favourite? Extremely hard to say.

I have a crush on Scotia Bank tower in Toronto and Le 1000 de la Gauchetière in Montréal.

Not the best, not the most famous, probably one of the most underrated, it's also my favourite residential building in all the country. Le Chateau apartments, a luxurious late 20's chateau-esque apartment building 15 storeys high smack in the middle of the Golden Square Mile.

As a proud Montréalais, I still have to give my favourite building to Québec City. The Post Office. Absolutely amazing piece of work and every time i cross the river by boat, i look at this building and not the chateau Frontenac.
