I don't get it... demolishing BC Place because the land is worth a lot. So when they have built condos on it, the land they sit on is... guess what... it's still worth a lot. Duhh!?!?!
Well, looking at it from one angle, if they keep the stadium and renovate it enough to last a few more decades, they can consider demolishing it and selling it in the future since the land will likely be worth even more then.
