<<Midwest Coffee Talk: The Tens>>

A new year, a new(ish) decade, and a new coffee talk. Have fun, and play nice. Well, at least to the extent that you keep me from being stripped of my moderating duties.

BTW, if someone has a better name for the thread, post them, here. I'm not feeling too creative at the moment.

Ugh, looks like Indy is in store for a major ice storm this week.

The last time we got that much ice in St. Louis we lost power for like a week. I guess I can just stay logged on here and when the little light by my name goes out, go get a generator and batten down the hatches. I'm guessing it's too late to get a generator. The stores here in St. Louis are already mobbed. I should just set my house on fire and drive to a dank, urine soaked weekly motel in Biloxi.

I'm willing to bet at least $100 I won't have sex again. I've been a diabetic for 21 years, I'd be incredibly surprised if everything was still in working order...

my phone says there's a blizzard warning for Chicago on Tuesday and Wednesday. I have a wedding to make it to, before Saturday.

And we get all of your weather, down there, as snow, up here. Ice can land a punch up front in a major way, but snow is forever, at least, it seems that way.

This time we get nearly an inch of ice plus up to a foot of snow, after the power is out from the ice.

Coffee talk? This place is more like a midwestern blue-collar bar - gritty, real, and politically incorrect - where everyone comes to bitch.

That sounds exotic to me. I don't exactly see a barn around here.
