The owner of the coffee shop at WPS sky-walk should have sold to Starbucks when he had the chance. They offered $500K.

Seriously, it didn't work before why will it work now?
I remember when the owner signed up for Jet's TV. That was a mistake.

Not sure how old this is, but I was walking down Main today and noticed that Yuki Sushi has ceased operating and a for rent sign is up.

All you youngsters out there might find it hard to believe, but when it opened up around 2010 or so it was a pretty big deal... the thought of a sushi restaurant in the McLaren Hotel seemed almost impossible to believe at the time. It ended up having a good run.

Good Earth was originally supposed to go in at Centrepoint, I assume where Tims is now.

The crazy thing about Yuki Sushi is that it was apparently one of the best in the city.

Best sushi restaurant?

No. Not even close.

It wasn't bad, but it was far from the best.

grant park really went from feeling like it was on the brink of being a dead mall to being quite lively.

^ Target breathed new life into the place. Those renos never would have happened had they not moved in for the 18 months or however long they were there.

Yes it was a sad day on these forums when someone mentioned the Arby's in PP was closing. We're down to one location in the city.

I for one went through the six stages of grief. (Denial, anger, bargaining, depression. acceptance, indigestion.) I'd experienced this at Arby's before, so I was well prepared.

Roses are red
Everything dies
Down to one Arby's
Um... curly fries?

Red Ember at the Common looks amazing! I'm excited to see what Scott Bagshaw's new spot there is like.

GP Festival is on Taylor Ave., not the mall itself, its part of what I think of as "Shindicoville" because he owns most of that propery.

Freshii is opening in CityPlace, main level on the corner of St Mary and Hargrave. Sign in the window leads me to believe there will an entrance from the sidewalk.

^ That's good, it's a prominent space that has been empty since the UPS Store closed probably close to a decade ago.

At the rate things are going though, we're probably just a few years away from the mall part of Cityplace becoming one giant food court.
