52 Homicides for Columbus today. 52 homicides in 4 and a half months. There were 106 for all of last year.

Toronto is at 18 currently for a population of 5,132,794 that's not to bad, this time last year we were at 34.

Those 18 homicides are just for the city of Toronto proper (pop. 2.8 million), not for the 2011 urban area population (if that's what that 5.1 million figure represents).

Pittsburgh has 33 murders so far this year, 27 of them have been black, 5 white and 1 Asian. Pittsburgh is only 27 percent Black. Last year Allegheny County had 105 murders, so it would seem that possibly this year that might be a few less. But last year there was a shooting that killed 6 people at a back yard bbq, so that bumped the number up a little. It was gang related and in retaliation for another murder conducted by one of the dudes at the BBQ and the idiots didn't even kill the guy they were trying to get but they did in their profound idiocy kill a baby.

This retaliation Shit is what drives black murder rates to be so high, a never ending cycle of murder.

Just because percentages have gone up (or down for that matter) does not necessarily tell you the whole story. The percentage could be up while actual numbers fall.

Still, Quebec City is at 7 for 2017 (up from 1 in all of 2016 - 0 at this point in 2016).

Just for a point of comparison. In 2008, the murder rate in Quebec City was more than 1,000,000 percent higher than 2007 (0 in 2007, 7 in 2008)
