I had a walk cut short last June (or was it July?) around the area of Walmer and Dupont by a very violent thunderstorm. Made it to the shelter of the Dupont station just below Casa Loma in the nick of time. Never did get back any closer than Honest Ed's.
So thanks for letting me see some more of the area.

What a wonderful tour of one of my favourite neighbourhoods. Even the bare trees and piles of dirty snow, can't diminish it's beauty but once the leaves and flowers are happening, it realy blossoms. Another excellent tour flar!

Some UofT alumni here?

Nice shots of Casa Loma, shappy. The house you pointed out is indeed the one where Jane Jacobs lived.

You're right she did live on Albany. Great neighbourhood!

Nice stuff. A refreshing change to see you do a Toronto neighborhood.

I plan on revisiting Queen West this summer, this time with some upload capability.

Maybe Chicago in June as well, but that might be limited to the south loop and McCormick.

I think you would like Old Chinatown, Flar. AKA 'Riverdale', this neighbourhood is fantastic and has a great collection of historical buildings including the infamous Don Jail! WOW what a structure!

DVP/Gerrard area, east of the DVP!

It's a lesser-known neighbourhood to even some Torontonians.

Great pics. I live about 200 feet North of the above picture. Other than the nuisance that is panhandlers begging for money on Bloor Street, this is pretty much a perfect neighbourhood. I can't really think of anything lacking about the area.

Do South Scarborough along the Scarborough Bluffs. Its an amazing area. A mix of urban streetcar suburb and modern suburbia. But its nice. Hit Fallingbrooke, Birchcliff, and the Bluffers Park.

Thanks for the ideas guys, I'll definitely be heading somewhere east of downtown next time since I really haven't seen much on the east side of the city.

Nice pictures. I almost missed this thread, because the thread title was honestly pretty dumb to me, and it was vague as well. I didn't even look at the member that made it.

We should do something together when I am up in the area. I want to explore Toronto more myself, and there are several neighborhoods that I want to see.
