Lovely mixture of the great, the grit, and the shit. Thanks.

I was in Tennessee last year and felt the beauty and the pain. The beauty is all of that history and the pain is seeing so much of it stranded among parking lots and modernist crap. Still, Knoxville seems to have great potential. I don't know how you "catch fire", but the remaining gems downtown could really catalyze something wonderful. The geographic gift is very nice. It may not be Asheville, but over time, it could be the next best thing.
Tennessee has some of the most beautiful cities in the south! I love the architectural character of Knoxville. I read an article on the restoration of the sunspehere not too long ago. It's great news to hear it is moving foward and may open to tour again.
i think it's a good idea to finally make a separate section for "found photos," but these aren't found photos, i took them, please move them back to the correct section. thanks in advance.
