There is a render out there for a snazzy new 24 story apartment proposal at the NE corner of Sangamon and Monroe. Hesitant to post as it is marked 'CONFIDENTIAL' and don't want to potentially piss anyone off in my industry. Tower has nice, unique glazing system that is very randomized, but makes good use of each facade. Between each horizontal window bay, there is a portion of the glazing that almost look like louvers that are at 45 degree angles, but they are fixed, so it creates an interesting shadow effect.

Sorry, I don't know how much is confidential, but the zoning document is public:

Yes, but the colored render I was referring to was clearly labeled as being confidential, dated 1/14/19. The crubed article from last month only shows the zoning doc line drawing elevations, and no detail.

Gotcha. Would be interesting to see for sure - I'm sure it'll be made public in due time right?

24 floors would be great. We will likely only get half that unfortunately.

There was a bit of animosity from a certain group on Facebook when the zoning plans were made public last month. Wondering what the final floor/unit count will be - my guess is around 13-16 floors to bring it to scale with some other new developments in the immediate area. Of course, it's better than what's there currently - that little area's development is good.

The site of an intrepid urban gardening project last year - using runoff from the school next door. The gardens were in wading pools sitting on the pallets, designed to be easily moved. The limestone is from the building that stood where Millie is now.

I don't remember ever hearing about an anchor tenant for 1375 W. Fulton. Must be building on spec.
