If it makes you feel better, I think of SLC as a cow town.

If it makes you feel any better I don't think of SLC.

(EDIT: and what should make you feel better is that when it's brought up on this thread I actually have to think about it)

When I think of SLC, I think of the wonderful beer from Wasatch Brewing company. "Polygamy Porter: Why have just one?"

Woohoo! It's kinda odd that through this whole discussion everyone must think that all of us talking think that polygamy is evil. Which I don't....it would be the absolute height of hypocrisy for me to accept gay marriage on one hand and turn my nose up at any other type of non-traditional family set up on the other.

The Prophet allows four. Wives, that is, not beers.

Really just four??? You'd still have to repeat at least 3 of them during the week. What's the draw??

Alright I'll get over it and get into the fun. With mother's day coming up I'm just glad I only have ONE mother and ONE wife. That could cost alot for those who have more then one.

Hey guys, do you think Salt Lake City and Denver have a major advantage in an aerobic game like soccer because of their higher elevations? The thought had not occurred to me until today.

For Strange Meat:

Here is a sample of some similar comments I've been finding on soccer forums in the RSL threads.

Quote:
MLS is the only league I follow where I am just as big of a fan of the league as a whole as I am of my team. No matter the outcome, RSL has had a helluva run and has brought a ton of media attention to the league and created a general kumbaya-esque feeling of MLS brotherly love. I, for one, think this is pretty effin cool.

Now, all the niceties being said, go kick some Rayados ass tonight and earn the league the respect it deserves so that I can finally go back to hating you guys.
vichuck: Dallas TX

But here are the goods. In a Colorado subsection of the Big Soccer Forum there is a poll and a conversation taking place right now concerning whether or not you as a Rapids fan will be rooting for RSL or C.F. Monterrey. Right now it's split 50/50. Apparently haters aren't going to hate. At least not decisively.

Against other MLS teams, yes. Against Latin American teams, no.

Mexico City's elevation is 7,350 ft.

Hells yeah. Just imagine the alimony if you had to divorce not just one, but multiple wives?

Instead of splitting your belonging up two ways just think of what it would be like to split things up 3 to 4 ways. That's funny.

And basketball.. I remember the old Doug Moe teams who would run run run until the opposition just ran out of gas. I remember several 4th quarter comeback against teams like Phoenix (not sure why I remember them so much) and Houston where they just kept relatively close until the other team was just out of gas.
