I didn't mind the off color choices in stucco when I was slinging mud, it was the gray/white applications or the, save a few bucks on a whitewash that drove me crazy. ( choose your stipple choice)..

It was a thing, Perogies=Winnipeg....Stucco=..etc..I'm glad we're moving away from it over all though, but..it's still a popular solution for many homes and residential developments overall here..

With the Galpern reno, Brick's reno coming along, 98 Market, work on Lily and John Hirsch Place, Pumphouse starting... there's so much going on right there in the East Exchange if you go for a walk now. Awesome to see. Hopefully the remaining lots on Market and the south side of James get scooped up and developed soon and we can make better use of the work the city did to the Elgin Alley.

Yes. Let's hope within a few years, the area is unrecognizable.

Ya, looking forward to seeing the final design and color. The renders were horrible but we'll see.

Sorry it's not the best pic. I was biking and it was really sunny so I couldn't really see my phone. The columns you can see in the foreground are all the way around the site, along the property line; elevator shaft near done; lots of workers on site.

Their website is up. Indicating occupancy for summer or fall of '17. At the rate that they are going, this actually seems realistic.
