For this one, it's a "Falcon" or "Tamyang" 8mm. I took a bit of a calculated risk, after reading the only review I could find on it. It goes under several brand names, its a manual focus lens made in Korea. It's surprisingly good for the price, and suits me well.

Just shooting with a Canon XSI.

Yea, these 8mm are new and pretty much unheard of at this point, though i think pretty soon they will catch on. 330$ shipped on ebay, under the Falcon brand...no duty. I made a little post on dpreview...if you're interested.

Wouldn't it be cool to look east down Provencher, and see a densely-packed street comprised of mixed-use buildings, ranging from a few to 10 - 15 stories?

Those high density buildings will likely be built along Tache.

Walked by the site today. Things are really starting to happen! The core (or whatever it is) looks much higher, and there's something else popping up at the edge of the site right near waterfront drive. Any idea what part of the museum this is? I was looking for some diagrams but it seems like the CMHR websites have changed and I can't find any good images (like the overhead views or that transparent 'layered' one that showed the different parts).

All of the structures you see gong up right now are the cores (there are 3) of the museum and the back portion (called the mountain) and the "root" walls. The steel structures will be going up sometime in May of next year.
