I don't know whether this has been up for a while or if it's new, but I happened to catch a glimpse of it while I was unlocking my bike at 30th Street Station:

Man, Brandywine must be really serious about this.

Talked to a Drexel Rep today; he said that apparently work on the Bulliten should begin really soon, like in the coming months

they have been saying for a while the first signs of progress will be the park. And supposedly construction is supposed to begin in 2017. Hopefully there will be outward signs of work there soon.

More like extortion from neighborhood groups.

I realize the old Bulletin building and the plaza in front of it have been talked about as the first construction to be planed, but is the first new construction set in place for a certain location, or is that up in the air and dependent on finding a tenant, other then Drexel, for the building? Also, if Drexel is not planning to be a big user of these buildings, what is their relationship to the overall project? Are they just the owners of the land and will basically leave all development decisions up to Brandywine?

First new construction should be JFK Tower 1. Looks like the basic plan is to develop the Five Star parcel first.

I wouldn't think anything until final plans are released for each building.

I like the design of JFK Tower 1. It would compliment the Cira 1 nicely. It would be disappointing if JFK Tower 2 didn't resemble the original rendering.

I think they may just be rearranging some things. It's possible that the residential tower that was planned to sit behind University Crossing where JFK "bends" has been moved to here... and the larger office building on JFK is now moved a little further down. We can't be sure until we see the final plans.

Its always nice to see projects get approved despite NIMBY resistance.

All I can do is hope and pray that the big ones don't get downgraded. That would be horrible.

Do we know what total height and number of floors are for the buildings in the first phase?

No. Nothing is close to finalized at this point. The renders are basically representations of future product. I would not presume what gets built will look anything like what we've seen so far.
