Yep I'm sure we are hearing the same rumour. I'm inclined to believe it too, makes a lot of sense.

That interesting deal is what I was referencing when I posted this a couple of weeks ago:

Exchanged for a hotel (partially)

Portion of Exchange Building Now Slated for Hotel
Posted on March 9, 2017
In an interesting move, 10 floors of the Exchange Building are being converted to hotel use instead of office use. This comes as Executive Group has acquired the adjacent Edward Chapman property at 833 West Pender, with soon to be released plans for a hotel on the site.

And there she is. Pretty interesting deal no?

I personally think this is a great use of compromised floors in the heritage structure.

Fascinating! What a great outcome for this project and a solid addition to the CBD.

Looking forward to reading more about this; thanks for the links.

Wow, when you said something interesting and unique a hotel did not even cross my mind. Very cool.

I wonder if this at all affects the hotel proposal next door.

Oh wow, that makes it even more interesting. So in the end the Edward Chapman site won't be orphaned and will be included in the Credit Suisse development?

Nah, we love sitting on available information and not post it here. It looks cool and something you have never seen before, I can tell you.
