I keep hoping they have a super-secret tenant landed and when they approach the 9th floor, we see a jumper installed and the crane all of a sudden shoots up to 400'.

...well, I can wish can't I??

Who knows, I very seriously beleive developers are waiting to see if the office portion fills up before anyone moves on major office space downtown.

I would honestly be very surprised with the amount of residents moving to the core (or about to move) if a few companies are not eyeing some new real estate Downtown or not planning a major move.

Does anyone know what this camera is for? Google Maps shows it pointing at Marriott, but I noticed last night it is pointing directly at Block 23 (not pointing at the parking lot, but right at construction). I'm wondering if it's another webcam we can watch construction from? It would be nice to be able to see Block 23 from that angle. If anyone knows how to find this camera view, that would be great.

Is it my imagination

Or is this block 23 site with 2 cranes on site seem to be going unusually slow. It's like they don't have enough workers on site or something.

It is going very sloowwww. They are only up to the 3rd floor. As fast as they excavated the hole and poured the foundations, you would think this would have been up to the 8th or 9th floor by now.

I did a boomerang flight to Phoenix two weeks ago - hadn't lived in DT Phx in 3 months... Block23 looked unchanged!

Just doesn't seem right

The more I look at the slow pace of this job on the construction cam something just doesn't seem right. Are they slow playing this thing for progress payments on a construction loan or just what?

Yeah Guys its a huge area about 40% larger than a normal city block, full parking above adn below ground, a Grocery store and multiple retail pads, an office building and a several hundred apartment apartment building + deck witha pool and amenities.

Its making progress but its not like link which has a footprint of 1/5 the size so the upward progress seems relatively quick

Enormous and unconventional in its shape. It's not just a square/rectangle, so the angles would make construction more difficult and time-consuming.
