^ Aprx: 35% of the 388 total units spoken for since the public sales launch, seems like a reasonable pace.

Note: Moved Sales Unit board image from construction, here, to maintain continuity of thread.

Yeah, it's a lame line. It just sounds dumb, period.

"Portage la Prairie is the biggest city on the great circle route between Tokyo and Chicago!!"

I mean really, who cares. The tower has enough merit on its own without having to work Toronto and Calgary into it.

They're using the last census (2011) figure which pegged the population at 663k

Oh. Makes sense.

Still, I don't think winnipeg (the city sans CMA) is actually that population - I haven't kept tabs for a while now but isn't it over 700k?

I can't remember, but has there been any geotechnical work done on site. Test caissons, etc?

Not to the same extent as the MPI Graham/Hargrave parking lot drilling work that True North is doing.

I think I saw a few months ago a small drill rig in for a day, but they could have also been the truck that was drilling for the coming soon signs.

Probably hasn't moved a whole lot after the holidays or in early January. Would likely pick up in spring

Don't forget MLLC's project... Graham Avenue could be drastically changed for the better. Hopefully the City of Winnipeg doesn't ruin the party by demolishing the Canada Post Tower...

To be fair, the huge driveway and loading zone in front of it is doing Graham no favours.
