That view of the skyline from the DWP Building is underrated, as is the city of Long Beach. Like the rest of metro LA, it has great bones and can be something truly remarkable with smart planning.

Looking forward to the SF thread.

Great pictures! You captured a wealth of building stock in Los Angeles. It seems that Downtown should be more well-known to the average person than it is.

Where were those pictures from the desert taken? I'm guessing somewhere in Nevada, but that's all I can guess. Was it near California? Near Las Vegas?

Those desert shots were taken in Baker, CA.

Good job Chris, too bad it was a lot of haze during your visit. It's only now it's starting to feel like summer, although Long Beach is still having overcast skies until the afternoon.
