Welcome to Ratika (Simcity 4) [56k warning]

I'll just let the images speak for itself... Tell me what you think!

Entire Region:

Click on Giant Thumbnail to enlarge to even larger, 4161 x 2618. (56K Warning!)

Let's have a tour around the city!

(As usual, click on the thumbnail to enlarge even larger. Each of 1280 x 960)

Well about a few words of this city, I did it without cheats, nor modds from Simtropolis,
(Though the only modd I used was the Water Modd, and just the God Mode Cheat to plant
and grow the trees even faster! ) As you can see, I usually a big big spender,
and now money's only 3 million... I like adding trees and parks to have that tropical
feel, and I like zoning in city blocks style and an allowance between highways and avenues.
(The allowance between roads and buildings is for future expansion of roads and placing parks)

Well basically, I got this idea from the zoning styles of Singapore. Trees and parks on every space.
Every residential home or apartment is entitled to one park each.

As you can also see, I do not have any custom BATs or lots installed. However, there is one BAT in the city.
Can you spot it? That BAT is designed by me.

how do you make your city limits so large? Everytime I creat a region I get tons of small city limit squares.

Thanks guys! Whew... A comment after soo long a certain time.

The trick is to modify your config.bmp in your cities folder... Go to your cities folder in My Documents/Simcity4/Regions/ then to your desired region..

Open one of them, and you'll see a file config.bmp. Open that file in MS Paint, then simply alter the pixel size to 32x32.. (Really big) or you can also use 16x16 for a smaller region and use this colour to paint the image: (Under- Colors>Edit Colors)

R:0
G:0
B:255

With those values inserted, you'll get blue, so simply paint the entire 32x32 or 16x16 tile with blue. That's all! So when you enter into the game, open up that region and viola!

But be warned: It's better to start an empty region. The reason that it could possibly corrupt other cities (files) in the region and the game might freeze. So start an empty region with no cities for better safety.

Wow looks very green on the hill you should place tunnels instead of roads that go up the whole hill!
