Some years we don't even see snow till mid January. It's always a waiting game to see what mother nature decides to do to us. Let's hope she will be easier on us then last winter.
I have heard that this is supposed to be a wicked winter in terms of the amount of snow, not too too cold but alot!!! of snow, its got something to do with the mild tempertures? just what I heard..we will have to wait and see
Anything exciting happening in the last two weeks of October that my mother and I should check out when we visit Hamilton for my second fact finding mission and walk about the city trying to get a feel for the place? I think my mother is sold on the idea of a move to Hamilton, I just need to cement the concept just a little more. Shame my step-father isn't going this time, he's our stumbling block.
Also, speaking of WiFi, where are good spots to sit down, grab a coffee (well a cup of tea in my case or a hot chocolate), watch the world go by while surfing the net on my netbook?

Yeah I might try going outside to eliminate the thick layer of concrete from the equasion. It would be cool if I could drop the DSL and use the public wifi all the time but I fear it's probably not all that reliable or fast.
that WirelessHamilton thing is CRAP.
I haven't been able to connect once, despite being in the coverage area and seeing the signal on my airport.
I called the city for help and the guy said "I don't think that's working yet"....thanks bud.
I hate the way the wireless relays mounted on streetposts interfere with my bluetooth stereo headset connection to my BlackBerry. Messes up listening to my favourite tunes as I walk home.
