A construction site is never "safe" so hopefully this kind of incident doesn't happen again, but yea use caution if in the area.

Lets hope this accident doesn't happen again!

I dunno but its pretty darn HUGE considering it runs all the way up the building! it would be freaky to stand on the edge!

Good to see the re-clad underway, those Marble tiles look terrible.

Good to hear no one was hurt by the piece of wood, a little girl was killed here by a falling piece of qdeck last summer, very sad.

Great update. It's funny to see the building in this context with nothing around it. If you weren't familiar with the city you might think it was the only thing around.

Its gonna be weird once done... Will it look like a brand new building built in 2010?... It might just look like it when the whole exterior is brand new (clad in glass!)... Well, aside from the 1970's architecture

Hmm, I think it will look brand new. The white fritted glass is pretty classy stuff, I must say. I think that the exterior design won't seem that dissimilar to the newest addition across the street, BA.

Not too much progress (yet)... According to a recent article i read in toronto life (last month or so..) they said "some of it will be available to the public by springtime"

I think they mean a good portion of the building will be clad for people to see but at the pace they're going at... i'm not buying it yet...

The tiles that have been removed are part of the huge amount of prep work including the construction stages and elevators . The reclad hasn't started yet.
