Okay, I am just going to say it, I am very, very jealous of Asian stadiums right now...they seriously are making what is being built in the States over the past 10 years look like crap.

Vancouver's BC Place stadium renewal / retractable roof addition

Vancouver' BC Place stadium is undergoing a mid-life upgrade. The primary undertaking has been the removal of the air-supported teflon roof and the ongoing installation of a cable-supported retractable teflon roof. The opening at the centre will be 80metres by 110 metres. Significant upgrades to the building include new public washrooms and concession stands, new seats, new luxury and media boxes, new elevators, and many upgrades to electrical and mechanical systems. A large casino-hotel development will be built adjacent to the stadium and integrated into it.

Some shots of Cowboys Stadium getting dressed up for the Superbowl. In some you can see the temporary seating being added to the endzone plazas...

The Marlins' ballpark is really looking great!
I saw it yesterday driving south on I95....Can't wait until next Spring!
Uniform and logo reveal are going to be sometime in November...I got a connection, so hopefully it will be on a day off, so I can get over there...
