I think it should just be Nashville to the SE and Winnipeg to the Central.

Agreed. It's so simple and obvious.

Since Martin's firing we have scored 24 goals in 8 games (3 goals per game avg). That's half a goal per game more.

And for now... Rangers>Bruins

If Winnipeg is stuck in the southwest again with this shitty schedule we should get an extra two wins added to our column by the league just for putting up with the most unfair travel schedule in league history. I don't even understand the players concern the same amount of players and teams make the playoffs it's less travel and more time zone friendly to the players.

Good, glad it was rejected. I never understood why Tampa and Florida was with Montreal, and other teams up in the north.

Non-existent fan bases in their home cities. It's the NHL's way of not-so-subtly acknowledging that without snowbirds, hockey is a complete and utter failure in the South.

If this is Fehr's first move, expect 2012-13 to be a lost season. The owners will have no incentive to budge much; with the economy still in the shitter down south most teams will be happy losing less money for a year.

Oh, don't bother with this one. It's yet another Sconadian re-tread.

I dislike Alberta.

The last account he used before it got banned started with the EXACT same question (this was either this past spring or it may have been fall/winter 2010, my brain is fuzzy) - "where is the C of Red these days??". If you respond in any way whatsoever, using logic, facts, or even photos to prove it's still as red as it ever has been during the regular season, he'll just respond back with "but it isn't as red as it used to be".

His trolling has gotten very subtle and hasn't raised the ire of the mods yet. Oh, and it looks like he's left BC for Toronto at some point in the past few months. I'm sure we can get feepa to help sniff out this particular truffle again.

Lots of penalties in this one. Boston couldn't score 1 goal with their 6 PPs and 1 penalty shot, while the Canucks got 4 PP goals.

Cody Hodgson looks like he's going to develop into a superstar. He gets not very much ice time and has played with unskilled players until very recently. If he was getting the same ice time as RNH and played with someone like Eberle, he would be leading in the rookie scoring race.

Once again, Boston show how stupid they are... no need for Marchand to make that hit on Salo... it cost his team the game.

And Bruins fans complaining by throwing stuff on the ice.

NHL rescinds game misconduct to Lucic
http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=610504

Well, that's comforting considering the refs blew the call with 56 minutes left in regulation. Ironically, Lucic was already on the ice, but several of the Canucks changed (Sedin couldn't get off the ice fast enough) leaving them with 6 players on the ice during the entire altercation. WRT to the Marchand thing, there were two similar "hits"; one right before it by Ballard that went uncalled, and one in the late third period.

I'm thinking the 5 minute major was only assessed because Salo was seemingly injured, which is no great show of strength.

It'd be like Markov getting injured. Unthinkable!

Plus Marchand is like 3 feet tall.

He was banned because he said there is no longer a sea of red???? please try and clarify for me here, but what was so wrong with his conduct? didn't seem anywhere near as abrasive as Feepa recently against the Canucks and how horrible Canuck fans are. I believe even calling them douches and other such synonyms.

Sometimes I just don't get this thread.

Was he being vulgar or trolling on other threads or was he indeed Sconadian? That nope, makes me think he wasn't?
