If you don't want to read other people's opinions, don't read the thread. It's that simple.

And this isn't the 432 Park Avenue thread, for anyone who didn't know it.

Older but great shots...

Yes they're in Weehawken. They're not far from the Port Imperial NY Waterways ferry service location. It's a great place for photos as is the park on top of the cliffs off Boulevard East.

Is the plan still for the top steel linings to be thicker than the vertical ones? I remember they were in older renderings - it helped to make the vertical linings seem less sinewy and gave the building more bulk.

Whenever I'm up close to this building in person, it just feels so weird--it almost looks like it's CGI, or some kind of extra-dimensional monolith. It's like a supermodel that isn't very photogenic, but still manages to look decent in photographs due to overwhelming beauty. Pictures really don't do this building justice, though. I literally can't believe I'm looking at a real-world object when I see the new 1WTC with my own eyes.

Those aerials looking south over Manhattan with the clouds and the sun playing trips have got to be some of the best aerials I've ever seen of the island, bar none.
