The horizontal plane footprint of the building is much more massive looking at it in real life than in the renderings. It has some girth to it.

Nope. One Riverwalk Place was built in the early 1980's and is basically a black glass rectangle. Granted, it's only 18 stories... but still. I think it's a nice looking building that still looks contemporary almost 40 years later (though the recent USAA signage is kinda bad).

She's a beauty from the air! I Flew over downtown yesterday evening coming home from Mexico City and she was beautifully gleaming in the sunset. Stunning!

I was literally thinking that today. I don't think they are using the cranes anymore.

Went downtown to check out the Frost today, looks great, but now all I can think is: more glass!! We need more glass!
