I think they are very interesting. It shows the pride that Varsovians have in their city - a city that has survived the worst destruction of any city in history, including Hiroshima. They're excited about it's renaissance, which is very understandable. You should have seen Warsaw during Martial Law and most of the 90's - then you would understand. Having said that there is a fair bit of repetition.

It would be good if more of these proposed buildings were built - would love to see more construction cranes.

Sadly, many people in Warsaw are against new development and often fight to the highest courts to stop anything from being built and so a lot of developers get tired and give up. Besides that the city lacks a comprehensive planning framework and development rules, but this is getting better fast.

I'm looking forward to visiting in 2012.

Docent, jedna prośba. czy mógłbyś ograniczyć się do 10-15 obrazków na post, bo tak mój komputer zatkał się na kilka minut przy ładowaniu tej strony.

Hmmm, I remember Warsaw of 80's and 90's very well, but this thread is overloaded with pics anyway.

Prosta Tower, Wola District

Hey, here are some more photos of Prosta Tower.
1) Prosta by night
2) building garages, should be finished in spring

It's not a "typical" scyscraper, if we even can talk about typical ones I like this project
