The location of that newest proposal which I think is the one on a corner correct that "steps down" on the sides??

If that is what you mean they are definitely active at that location, that is pictured on the far left you can see it fenced off. Where the fence stops is where the new road will go https://west5.ca/wp-content/uploads/...tyjune2017.png

Take a look at that link the purple buildings north of the this picture is what looks to be active as well.

The last time I've been by, I don't recall any activity in the "high rise" area at the corner of Kains and Oxford.

Nothing is going on in the high rise area at the moment, take a look at this map which I marked up in paint to better show the area https://imgur.com/a/lvY85

They are working on the following from what I can tell (and from the map)
1. Sifton Head off basically complete aside from individual spaces that are being finished to suit tenants, this is where the pictures were taken from
2. The new multi use office building which is directly north of the Sifton building, this along with the "Solar Parkade" and the small building west (orange color) which is the pet centre in the pictures I sent and is circled on the imgur link
3. The puple building in the circle, this was proposed in October http://www.london.ca/business/Planni...2017-10-18.pdf
This area is being dug out you can see in the pictures the farther nothern point is the road you can see in the map I circled and is fenced off
4. The part I marked with an X are the town homes you can see in the pictures that "block" is almost 100% complete, it is 4 rows deep and just final finishing going on

Let me know if you want other pictures, etc now that the weather is nice its much easier for me to walk over with the kids and check it out as I live close

I was wondering about the residential/retail in purple at the top of the circle you drew. Glad to see it's getting dug out.

Came to post that there is a crane up now, do you know if this is for the office building OR the residential building that seems to also be underway...or both lol?

The video looks like the crane is actually on the residential plot however could likely be used for both sites.

I've been told there will be a second crane to the east of this one put up soon. Not sure which is which though.

I believe you are correct, I drove in off the unfinished Riverbend Rd as Westdel is closed and it looks like a second crane will go up soon. This one in the video looks like it is for the residential building but hard to be certain.

I will make my way over there this weekend and snap a few pictures if the rain stays away.

Quite a bit of action going on right now. I believe the base for the 2nd crane is on the right of this picture.

Drove by this afternoon, I agree. Also, I don’t think either crane will serve the commercial building currently under construction. The 1 crane was pointed in that direction but doesn’t reach over it. And the base of the second crane is further away.

There will be a temporary crane parked on Riverbend Road to service the office building currently under construction in the foreground of the picture. The two tower cranes are for the apartment buildings in behind (circled in red).

So both cranes are for the residential tower, which will be this proposal 10 stories stepping down as it goes around the corners http://www.london.ca/business/Planni...2017-10-18.pdf

The structure closest to the camera will be the 4 story office building.

Seems like they are really moving fast

This is what the 2 cranes will be working on.

The 4 story office building looks to be working on level 2 concrete core.
