Hmm... According to the LUAR there is suppose to be a six-level parking garage. Does this mean there will be less parking spaces? I believe the extra public parking spaces was a driving force to get the building approved. Architype did mention the final parking level was to be different, may be that's what they're starting.
I count 5 concrete levels in that pic. Would the Harbour Drive ground level count as the sixth?
The top of the precast structure which is already built should be the sixth parking level.
The renderings show the 6th level structure as being a bit different.
The office building should start one level above that.
The precast parking structure and the office building are being performed by two different contractors - the precast contractor is finished and now the office building contractor has begun the steel work. The sixth level of the parking garage appears in fact to be steel construction and I presume would be part of the second contractor's scope. The sixth parking level has actually started along the western edge of the structure (didn't stop for a picture of that... sorry).
A bit more of the vertical steel completed today actually (a couple of levels above the garage) - hope to see it move quickly from here.
Here's a recent photo of the 351 site; you can also see the Fortis site in the background between the two churches, for now. This is fairly recent but before the structure was completed and the steel work started for the office building.

This is one of the most photogenic buildings I've seen while under construction, mainly because of the precast, but the steel looks good too.

Alot of these are in the works still, Although I think a new rendering could be called for, Including Deacon Building, The new Steel hotel, All the developments on duckworth street too, might need to be zoomed in a bit in two different renderings on both sides of DT.

I think it would be nice if someone could do a renderinf of the west end of DT including 351 waterstreet and convention centre etc, but looing west instead of east.. this is way out of my photoshoping abilities
