My cousin's youngest daughter is racist. She loves Barbies so my cousin got her a bunch of them, and she was excited about every single one until she got to the black Barbie. She gave it a disapproving look and then gave it to her sister. After my cousin snuck it in with her other Barbies one day, it disappeared and they don't know where it went.

She is 5.

They have no idea why she is racist, since no one else in the family is.

When I was her age, I was playing My Little Pony with native girls who were a fair bit older than me. Yes, My Little Pony existed then and I played with them.

One of the best bits of news I received from my doctors visit last week was when the nurse measured my height and announced I was 66 inches tall......

Me: That's only 5'6".
Nurse: Yep.
Me: But I'm 5'7".
Nurse: Not anymore.

"Not anymore!"

Poor Rockyi. I remember when I was 5'6". It was a three day period when I was 17. Every day of it was sunny! May every day of you being 5'6" be sunny, too!

I won't let it bother me too much. I'll be 5'5" before long.

who cares if you lose an inch at the top of your head - so long as you don't lose an inch below the waist!

For fuck sake this is messed up. I'm bitching at my parents for doing this to me. Everybody should have to watch this video before circumcising their baby. No way this would be so common in the US if people knew...

Linked to it instead of embedding it because the graphic is kinda disturbing. NSFW.

My tallest was when I was 18. I was at Lackland AFB for training. All that standing at attention BS. I've lost an inch since then.

^Even though you've lost an inch I'm guessing you are of reasonable height? It sucks when one is only 5'7" to begin with THEN loose height.

OK, enough feeling sorry for myself....on the bright side, I'm 51 years old and still don't have a big gut.

Maybe I'll have a good old fashioned middle-age crises and buy a sports car, wear jogging suits everywhere and dye my
hair Ronald Reagan black/brown.

Yeah, I started hitting the skids at 26. I'm 30 but feel 75.

High mileage, perhaps.

Age 25 is peak health. From there everything slips. We're no different than our ancestors who lived shorter lives. We just increased lifespan and allowed ourselves to experience more health problems

I never felt good as I was again after the age of 30. I had a few good years here and there but after 30 I have been going down hill physically since then.

Hahah, that's great.

Part of my problem is maintenance, and the fact that I drive all over the goddamned midwest for work and spend tons of time on the road and in drive throughs to get gyros instead of riding my bike to work and college like I once did. That's the price I pay for working in the environmental business, ugh.
