Corrected that for you.

Toronto didnt make it? I thought they were guaranteed a spot.

I kid, I kid.

Cheering for Vancouver obviously and Ottawa to a lesser extent in the east. Although I would love to see a Boston Vancouver final again.

Ideally Round 1: Vancouver over San hose in 5 > Round 2: Vancouver over Chicago in 7 OT > Semis: Vancouver over St.Louis in 7 > Finals: Vancouver over Boston in game 7 OT

Tough for my mental health but the end result would be worth it all.

Last year's Canucks cup run was a lot of fun though from a hockey fans' perspective. Every round was a story of its own.

vs Chicago: Guaranteed exciting and intense hockey. Built up the momentum all the way till the Game 7 OT goal by Burrows that literally sent the city into total madness.

vs Nashville: Beast mode Kesler was fun to watch.

vs San Jose: Sedin magic and the Bieksa 2OT goal. Good series too just from entertainment perspective.

vs Bruins: Unless it's your own team, it's probably fun to watch a team collapse the way the Canucks did. I'm a Canucks fan and it really sucked, but I can see it being very entertaining to other fans.

C'mon, who doesn't want good entertainment like that ?

I like Pittsburgh in the east and St. Louis in the west.

Honestly, if I can see a solid 7-game battle of Pennsylvania, my year is complete.

After that last game....I say give them all 16 spots so we can watch 15 series.

Just looked at the standings..Would be great to see Buffalo squeak in!..The Rangers and Sabres could be a great series as well.
To all who think the Sens are dull and boring, you need to get your head out of the sand. Ottawa and Boston will also make for great play-off hockey me thinks.

I think it would be great to see the blues win. That being said I really hope pittsburgh/philly and new york/new jersey play each other given the tension between them.

Pretty much this. Philadelphia/Pittsburgh is going to be insane, while I think New Jersey will roll over Florida in five or six. Hopefully they can get the Rangers in the playoffs! I would love to see the Blues do well but it depends on who they get in the first couple of rounds. I wouldn't want to be playing San Jose as an eighth or seventh seed.

Personally either Detroit/Nashville from the west and New York/Boston from the East. St. Louis, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh or Vancouver wouldn't surprise me.

My predictions:

Rangers-Sens: Rangers in 5... NY will limit Spezza and Karlsson
Bruins-Caps: Caps in 7... Tim Thomas in DC
Panthers-Devils: Devils in 5... Kovalchuk goes in beast mode
Pens-Flyers: Pens in 6... Crosby and Malkin will have some insane numbers after that series

Canucks-Kings: Canucks in 6... Quick will steal 2 games
Blues-Sharks: Blues in 7... the Sharks will wake up but Halak will eventually steal Game 7
Coyotes-Blackhawks: Blackhawks in 7... goaltending will an issue but they will outscore their problems
Preds-Wings: Preds in 6... too much depth for Nashville

What are your predictions?

Hopefully the Canucks will sweep, probly not tho. But the fewer the games, the fewer the injuries. I'll say Canucks in 5 or 6. Wings and Preds should be interesting. Preds in 6. There are always 1st round upsets and I think this will be one of them - I'll pick San Jose over the Blues in 6, and Hawks over Yotes in a sweep. The east will be fun to watch, not going to bother predicting tho.
