^^^ That first photo is exactly the lighting conditions I'm talking about. During the right times of the day the angle of Trump Tower causes it to just light up with the sunrise or sunset like it's on fire. That is what has really brought me around to liking this building.
I do have to say that it is very well massed to just meld right into the surrounding cityscape. Not sure that is a 100% good thing though.

The big retail space in Donald Trump's riverfront skyscraper has sat empty so long that the brash New York developer has stopped courting tenants to fill it.
Now that's what I call a view. It would be even better if Chicago's history wasn't so tainted with cancelled projects. I'd rather put a mattress on the roof and sleep there than pay millions to sleep a few floors below.
