Nice pictures! That Parkway Towers building is a nice gritty gem, and is worth getting closer to if you ever go back.

Ya beat me to it! Great pics...I get up there frequently for business. Chattanooga is actually quite an active pedestrian town, and also on the other side of the river, too (north shore).

Great photos! I loved Chattanooga when I visited there with my dad a few years back, had a great time! The aquarium is awesome, as is nearly everything else in the Riverfront area! Gorgeous scenery as well!

Awesome set. I love Chatty. Been going there since I was a baby and it's still mind blowing to me how much that city has redefined and reinvented itself.

I'd love to get across the pedestrian bridge (the longest in the world) and over the river to the North Shore neighborhood along Frazier street sometime. I hear it's absolutely booming.

That's one city I'd like to visit some day. I've heard good things.

Great set.

Thanks for the awesome photos, LSyd! I truly love Chattanooga, and am happy it's only 1.5 hours drive from where I live. Does anyone know what is going on with the building beside Republic Center in photo 39? It appears to be re-clad recently and from what I can see looking through the windows, it also appears empty, or mostly so.

^OK, so a little web research reveals it's now called Liberty Tower (formerly Chesnut Tower) and is currenly undergoing renovation to be completed by the end of the year. Great news!

Cool to see the city that's twinned with the town I work in (Swindon) - looks like a very solid building stock, there .
